Paul attended Lime Hills primary School and St Kevins College in Oamaru. He graduated from Massey in 1972. Born in Southland Paul was keen to return to the province to work and began working in Riversdale as a new Graduate. He is still here 40 years later. While his vet work has been historically wide ranging, his particular interests are in deer sheep and horses. Paul played rugby, refereed rugby and played squash, tennis and cricket in his earlier years. He and wife Marie raised four daughters in Riversdale supporting them through their school and tertiary education years. Paul became a great hockey watcher! They are now the proud grandparents of six grandchildren. Paul has been on the Riversdale community board since being 'worked on' in 2007. He is currently a shareholder and former director of NSVets. Paul is now in a well-deserved semi-retirement.
