A graduate of Dean Kelly NS in 1986 Morgan left the Emerald Isle to travel to NZ in 1999 (having worked in his native Athlone and Gloucestershire, England before this) on his Big OE, fresh faced and with $1000 in his back pocket. He worked in Masterton and Waimate before travelling south on the recommendation of relatives and Paul Langford in March 2000. He met Liz and the rest they say is history. Now no longer fresh faced and more than a few grey hairs he is the proud Dad of three girls (Eilish, Clodagh and Aoife) who keep him busy and entertained in his spare time. Morgan gained membership of the Australian college of veterinary scientists in 2008 by examination in Animal Reproduction and is currently the only person in the South Island with this qualification. He is also an InCalf provider and has an interest in consultancy. Outside of work Morgan is a keen sports enthusiast and still hankers back to his youth by playing football competitively for Gore Wanderers and has recently taken up mountain biking. Fishing for blue cod and grouper (and eating them) is also a favourite. He is also keen on community involvement being involved with the local Lions club of which he is a past president.
Morgan is a Director/shareholder of NSVets
